Erman Erim in Augsburg - 03 June
Erman Erim , Kesselhaus, Monika Kruse, Augsburg, 2011-06-03

Out now the new EP "Never Ending Stories" on Terminal M: Released Dec. 2011
Erman Erim was born in 1981 in Neumarkt, next to Nuernberg.
Although he was fascinated by metropolis like Berlin and more particularly Istanbul (where a part of his family is still living),
because of their musical and cultural diversity, he likes the Bavarian city as a refuge for his inspiration. He enjoys a very good
reputation with his residency in the surrounding Zoom Club in Nuremberg.
He has also played in respected clubs like Berghain, Rohstofflager, Rocker 33, Airport Würzburg or the Weekend Club, where his
Live-Acts full of energy contributed to build him a good notoriety.
Erman Erim released 3 EPs on Terminal M so far and addition remix on Martin Woerner's label "Inclusion".
With his releases "4 Takt Ep" and "Harmonic Habitat" and the new Club-hit "Wir sind doch anders",
Terminal M introduced his sound to a bigger audience and presented him beside Monika Kruse in the Terminal M Showcases in Berlin, Switzerland, or ADE in Holland.
Furthermore, Terminal M released in 2009 his interpretation of the track "Don't Come so Close" from Monika Kruse's album "Changes
of Perception", together with a remix of 2000AndOne on the EP "Changes of Perception – 2nd Remix Edition".
In 2010 Erman was part on the Terminal M EP "Ten Years Love: Volume Two". At the end of 2011 he released the EP "Never Ending Stories" digitally on Terminal M.
Erman's style is marked by his accentuated melody and the charm of his live-performances. The pieces are recorded steadily live
during his mostly nightly studio-sessions and are later only lightly retreated.
Erman Erim: "It has to work in one shot. And then it must just "click",
you make the right melody and you know you just have to add a bassline and diverse other elements. Then you again finalize
some things and in the morning your piece is finished."
The talent to record melodies and to arrange the tracks live comes from his early enthusiasm and ability to play piano.
In children photos he appears as a 3 years old "virtuoso" organ player.
Even in his playing, instruments, particularly the ones with buttons, became a passion for him.
Erman enjoys playing classic or jazzy tracks on the keyboard and piano and has a passion for film music. Thus he has already
composed music pieces for film scenes, or he produces for himself the percussion samples for his tracks.
Thereby he always trusts his sense of hearing – he never was interested in music notes and scores.
Erman Erim's remarkable openness and interests for music reflect also in his wide music tastes in many music styles:
classic, pop, jazz, rock but also American and German hip-hop.
For the future, Erman Erim wants to focus and concentrate only and totally on the music… Go for it!
